Estuary Es"tu*a*ry, n.; pl. Estuaries. [L. aestuarium, from aestuare to surge. See Estuate.] [Written also [ae]stuary.] 1. A place where water boils up; a spring that wells forth. [Obs.] --Boyle. 2.
